AIMS AND OBJECTIVES



a) To establish an organization of General Medical Practitioners .
b) To achieve, preserve and protect the rights of General Medical Practitioners .
c) To eradicate from Pakistan the menace of quackery.
d) To achieve and maintain the highest ethical, moral, educational and professional standards in the G.Ps.
e) To get recognition of General Medical Practice as a specialty.
f) To encourage and assist new comers in General Practice .
g) To achieve official recognition for every General Medical Practitioner , the status of dignified citizen in the Town's protocol order. This status should also be recognized by govt. institutions for high genuine needs.
h) To achieve loans on the authority of the registration certificate by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council as security and Govt. plots on nominal/ reserved prices for constructions of clinics and residential accommodation.
i) To get selection of General Medical Practitioner in delegations going abroad or missions pertaining to Health, medical and advisory cncils/forums/bodies and study tours.
j) To achieve priority for General Medical Practitioners children in educational institutions in general and medical institutions in special.
k) To achieve the exemption of General Medical Practitioners from formal
completion of lectures for various postgraduate diplomas and degrees.
l) To help families of the ailing, disabled, calamity stricken and deceased
members of the Forum from the Welfare Fund of the Forum .
m) To achieve recognition of the Forum by the Govt. as a statutory body.
n) To arrange for group insurance for members of the Forum at special
concessional rates.
o) To promote the feelings of oneness amongst the General Medical Practitioners.
p) To keep the Forum non-political .
q) To help the Govt. in national welfare projects i.e Family Planning,Reproductive health, Safe motherhood etc.
r) To create subsidiary bodies for its accomplishment.
